At Crossroads, we know that children are a blessing from the Lord and the Lord is going to hold us accountable for how we take care of those who cannot yet care for themselves. Early on in our church's existence we made the decision to place a premium on caring for our nursery aged children. A part of that care was demonstrated by turning the entire office complex into a secure and comfortable safe haven for children between birth up through 2 years old.
All workers are screened and agree to background checks. Access to the nursery area is limited to workers and parents of children in the nursery. Every child is assigned a pager number and the pager is given to the parents for peace of mind. Should an emergency arise, the pager will vibrate and instructions will appear on the pager screen.
The Lord has truly blessed up with loving, caring, and compassionate nursery workers. Parents truly feel comfortable leaving their most prized possessions in the care of Crossroads nursery workers knowing their child(ren) will be afforded the best of care and protection. |
